VLADIVOSTOK, July 22 – RIA Novosti. Two warships of the Vietnamese Navy have arrived in Vladivostok to participate in the celebration of the Day of the Russian Navy, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reports.
"Two missile frigates of the Navy of the Republic of Vietnam "Chan Heung Dao" and "Quang Chung" arrived in Vladivostok to participate in the celebration of the Navy Day. The ships have already entered the Golden Horn Bay and are taking their places in the parade formation in support of the tugs of the Pacific Fleet, " the report says.
Earlier, 16 sets of raid equipment were installed in the Golden Horn Bay near the Tsesarevich Embankment to form a parade formation. In total, seven warships will be involved in the celebrations.
The dress rehearsal of the parade of ships of the Pacific Fleet will be held on July 23, and the festive celebrations in honor of the Russian Navy Day in Vladivostok will be held on July 25.
Earlier, the navy reported that by the decision of the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Sergei Avakyants, the parade of ships in honor of the Navy Day will be held in the waters of the Golden Horn Bay on July 25. A military sports festival with a demonstration of the combat capabilities of the fleet forces and a traditional theatrical performance at the water station are not planned due to quarantine measures in force in the capital of the Primorsky Territory.
