An exercise with the personnel of the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Kantemirovsky Tank Division of the Western Military District (ZVO) to repel massive air attacks on important military, industrial and administrative facilities has started in the Moscow Region.
The battery of anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) Tor-M2 moved to the area of combat duty. During the march, the servicemen repelled an attack by a conditional sabotage group on a column of equipment. Under the cover of a smoke screen, the SAM column was able to get out of the attack and continue its combat mission.
The battery's combat crew deployed the complexes in combat order and began air defense duty. When detecting aircraft and ballistic missiles of a simulated enemy, the crews performed electronic missile launches.
