MOSCOW, July 20. /TASS/. The new automated logistics support system Matreshka has been created for a new light single-engine fighter. This was announced in an interview with TASS by Mikhail Strelets, First Deputy Managing Director - Director of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, chief designer of a light tactical aircraft (LTS).
"The Checkmate light tactical aircraft is a really easy-to-maintain aircraft. A new automated logistics support system Matreshka has been created for the fighter. With the help of the latest methods of predictive analytics, the system will allow you to track the technical condition of the aircraft in real time throughout the entire life cycle, " said Strelets.
According to him, this will make it possible to plan preventive and repair work, significantly reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of after-sales service.
He also said that " already today, the cockpit has the intellectual support of the crew, which forms tips for the pilot for the most effective actions in air combat, including in difficult situations."
"Checkmate is equipped with an artificial intelligence that performs the role of a"co-pilot". He will independently diagnose all aircraft systems and help the pilot in a rapidly changing combat situation. The commander concentrates on issuing instructions, the machine performs all operations automatically, " said Sagittarius.
He said that the cockpit of the fighter is equipped with unique panoramic touch screens that reflect the state of all systems, as well as provide comprehensive information about the route, targets and threats.
