The Russian Helicopters holding company (part of the Rostec state Corporation) for the first time presented an unmanned aerial vehicle of the BAS-200 helicopter type at the MAKS-2021 international Air Show, it will become the first unmanned participant in the flight program of the air show in history, the press service of the holding reports.
"Russian Helicopters Holding Company... for the first time, he presented his new project BAS-200, an unmanned helicopter-type aircraft, at the MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon. This machine will become the first ever unmanned participant in the flight program of the air show, " the message says.
The maximum take-off weight of the device is 200 kilograms. It can reach speeds of up to 160 km / h and carry a commercial load weighing up to 50 kilograms. The BAS-200 is capable of performing flights lasting up to 4 hours at altitudes up to 3,900 meters. The air show also presents a ground control system that provides communication with a drone at a range of up to 100 kilometers. The length of the device is 3.9 meters, the height is 1.2 meters.
The BAS-200 can be used for a wide range of aviation operations: terrain monitoring, cargo delivery, search and rescue and agricultural work.
The development of the BAS-200 project and the flight tests of the drone are carried out by the National Helicopter Construction Center "Miles and Kamov "of the Russian Helicopters holding company.
