ZHUKOVSKY /Moscow region/, July 20. /TASS/. The Techmash concern of the Rostec State Corporation for the first time presented the S-13B multifunctional unguided high-efficiency rocket at the MAKS-2021 Air show.
"The S-13B unguided aviation missile of increased efficiency combines the capabilities of several missiles from the S-13 122 mm caliber unguided aviation missile system - these are the C-13T and S-13OF unguided missiles known in Russia and abroad. Due to its versatility, the product is promising for delivery not only to the domestic market, but also abroad," Alexander Kochkin, executive director of Techmash, told TASS on Tuesday.
He specified that the S-13B missile has a concrete-piercing warhead of increased power. It is intended for use as part of unguided missile weapons of serial, developed and promising aircraft of operational-tactical and naval aviation to destroy aircraft in reinforced reinforced concrete shelters, airfield runways and other strong targets, as well as easily invulnerable equipment and manpower in open terrain.
The International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 takes place from July 20 to 25 in Zhukovsky.
