Combat crews of the Leningrad Association of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District hit the equipment and manpower of the "enemy". The exercises were held at the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan Region, they fired from the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex.
According to the press service of the ZVO, the column of equipment made a march, overcoming sections of rough and infected terrain, and the calculations of the ground guard and defense repelled the attack of the reconnaissance and sabotage group. Then the combat crews of the Pantsir-S ZRPC came into action, they controlled the airspace in the area of the deployment of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system.
The servicemen discovered, escorted and destroyed the air and ground objects of the conditional enemy. They fired anti-aircraft guided missiles, fired from anti-aircraft machine guns of 30 mm caliber.
"Pantsir-S" is an anti-aircraft missile and gun system. It operates at a distance of 200 meters to 20 kilometers. It is designed to cover military facilities, including long-range air defense systems-S-300 "Favorit" and S-400 "Triumph".
