Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia, spoke about the demand for Yak-130 combat training aircraft.
"Now a number of previously signed contracts for the supply of this aircraft are being fulfilled, in particular with Vietnam," RIA Novosti quotes Shugaev.
According to him, "the demand for the Yak-130 remains at a high level, since in a certain segment today it is the best offer according to the "cost - effectiveness" criterion both for training pilots and for performing combat missions."
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the opening ceremony of the MAKS air show in Zhukovsky on July 20.
