Baku. July 18. INTERFAX-AZERBAIJAN-The EU is ready, if necessary, to assist Azerbaijan and Armenia in carrying out the delimitation of the state border, European Council President Charles Michel said.
"The EU is ready to make efforts to achieve progress in various areas. For example, in the issue of border delimitation (between Azerbaijan and Armenia - IF). We are ready to send European experts on this issue, and if there is a need and a wish, Europe is ready to carry out monitoring, " Michel said at a joint press conference with the Azerbaijani president in Baku on Sunday.
According to him, there is also a need to discuss the issue of the border dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
