Advanced samples of modern microelectronics for spacecraft of the future will be shown at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 by the holding company "Russian Space Systems" (RKS, part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos"). At the company's stand, guests and experts will be able to see real microelectronic products assembled from various combinations of microelectronic technologies developed by the RKS Microelectronics Center, as well as get acquainted with the possibilities of their use in the onboard and target equipment of new multifunctional Russian spacecraft.
Specially installed electron microscopes will broadcast the projection of an enlarged image of" living iron " on a large screen, demonstrating the capabilities of the assembly production of the Russian instrument-making holding.
Head of the Design Center for Space Microelectronic Systems of the RKS Vitaly RAKHVALOV:
RCS uses its own production and technological platform to provide samples in the field of high-end electronics-3D assemblies; electronic keys (solid-state relays) with series-parallel redundancy; "inverted crystals" (Flip chip); gold and aluminum wire connections mounted in a stack; on-board secondary power sources; sensitive elements of accelerometers and gyroscopes; microelectronic modules.
The scope of application of these products is in spacecraft for providing satellite telephony, digital television, and providing broadband Internet access. These products are already being equipped with modern navigation spacecraft, orbital signal relay equipment, and scientific space stations. The latest microelectronic components will be equipped with satellites for eco-monitoring-observation of "hidden" anthropogenic and natural processes, ocean research.
These and other latest technologies of space instrumentation and analytical services based on the use of information received from space navigation, communication and remote sensing systems, as well as the capabilities of modern "space" production, RKS holding will show at MAKS-2021, which will be held in Zhukovsky near Moscow from July 20 to 25, 2021.
