The airshow will begin with the flight of a group of helicopters, including Ka-32A11BC, Ansat, Ka-226, Ka-62, Mi-35M, Ka-52, Mi-171A2 and a number of others. Then a single aerobatic flight of these helicopters will take place.

Earlier, on July 17, it was reported that a dress rehearsal of the flight program of the MAKS-2021 air show took place in Zhukovsky. It was carried out in full, despite the bad weather: for almost half of the airshow, the sky over the Gromov LII was covered with clouds, at the end it began to rain.
To attend the MAKS-2021 air show, the requirement for a PCR test or a QR code against the background of the spread of coronavirus infection is still maintained. Children under 18 years of age accompanied by adults will be able to get to the air show without presenting a PCR test.
The International Aviation and Space Salon, which is traditionally held in Zhukovsky, will be held from July 20 to 25, 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. It was clarified that the leading Russian aircraft manufacturers and a number of foreign companies confirmed their participation in the MAKS and reserved space.
