MOSCOW, July 16-RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced a tender for the purchase of unguided S-13DF aircraft missiles with an initial (maximum) contract price of 1.9 billion rubles, follows from the data of the public procurement portal.
The purchase is carried out in the form of a closed auction. The documentation does not say how many missiles are planned to be purchased. The delivery will be carried out in batches – until November 10, 2023.
The results of the purchase will be summed up on August 4.
According to Rosoboronexport, unguided aircraft missiles of the S-13 type are used from airplanes and helicopters. These missiles belong to the air-to-ground missiles and are designed to destroy ground targets of various types. A number of samples with various warheads have been created, in particular, S-13DF-with a volume-detonating mixture, enhanced power.
