The passenger aircraft MS-21-300 ("Mainline aircraft of the XXI century 300") received a wing made of Russian composite materials, according to the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). The corresponding video of the docking of the left wing console to the fuselage of the aircraft is published on YouTube.

The wing consoles and the center section of the aircraft are made of Russian polymer composite materials. "Domestic materials for the production of composite structures were developed with the participation of Moscow State University (Moscow State University — approx. "Tapes.ru") and Rosatom enterprises. The technology of vacuum infusion, which is patented in Russia, is used in the manufacture of the wing," the report says.

In January 2019, the general director of AeroComposite, Anatoly Gaidansky, said that the measures introduced The US Department of Industry and Commerce regarding the supplier of components for the Russian civil aircraft MS-21, are not sanctions, but "technological restrictions".

In January 2018, Vasily Podkolzin, Deputy Director General of the National Institute of Aviation Technologies, head of the scientific and Methodological center "Norma", Doctor of Technical Sciences , noted that the "black wing" of the MS-21 is being created using Western technologies from foreign carbon fiber and polymer binders.
