Moscow. July 14. INTERFAX-Russia is increasing the number of high-precision long-range weapons, including the Kinzhal hypersonic complexes, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Mikhail Popov said.
"The troops are receiving modern samples of weapons and military equipment as planned. The latest strategic missile systems are on combat duty, the number of strike air complexes with the Kinzhal hypersonic missile is increasing, as well as ships equipped with high - precision long-range weapons," Popov said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Popov added that Russia "is ahead of many advanced armies of the world in the development of new weapons with a much smaller military budget."
