TSAMTO, July 14. The staff officers of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District, stationed in Samara, were re-equipped with 9-mm Yarygin pistols (PJ) "Grach", which replaced the Makarov pistols (PM), adopted in 1951.
The Yarygin pistol uses a 9-mm armor-piercing cartridge capable of piercing armor of class 1 and 2, the magazine capacity is 18 rounds, which is 2 times more than that of the PM. The pistol has a high accuracy of shooting, the initial velocity of the bullet and, accordingly, the killing force.
The pistol also has a strap for attaching a tactical flashlight under the barrel with a laser designator and a two-way fuse, which allows you to bring the pistol into combat position with both hands, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
