A batch of the latest night sights "Malysh" has entered service in the motorized rifle unit of the Amur Combined Arms Association of the Eastern Military District (VVO).
The " Kid " night sights belong to the generation 2+sights. They are designed to monitor the battlefield and conduct targeted shooting in conditions of poor visibility.
The " Kid " sights have a number of significant advantages over the equipment of the previous generation. The design feature of the devices is a modular scheme, which allowed it to be used with a wide range of small arms.
The design of the sight provides scales of lateral corrections, a rangefinder grid, alignment mechanisms, brightness adjustment and automatic protection against illumination. The sight is mounted on a standard mount for Russian small arms with a side bar, including the latest AK-12 Kalashnikov assault rifles.
The " Kid " sights were delivered to the VVO troops in accordance with the plan for the first armament of the VVO motorized rifle formations with modern weapons.
By the end of 2021, it is planned to equip a number of motorized rifle units of the Amur Combined Arms Association of the VVO with the latest sights.
