Moscow. July 13. INTERFAX - The Russian military department is developing a roadmap for the disposal of property that is located at shipyards, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"There are more than 19 thousand units of material and technical means at industrial enterprises. Currently, a roadmap is being developed for organizing the disposal of this property until the end of 2022. The solution of these tasks is directly related to improving the efficiency of shipbuilding corporations," Shoigu said at a conference call on Tuesday.
Discussing the issue of the agenda concerning the morally and physically outdated property of the Ministry of Defense at shipbuilding enterprises, the Minister noted that it has no further prospects for use in the Armed Forces.
By getting rid of outdated property, enterprises reduce the cost of its storage, free up production space for performing tasks of the state defense order. At the same time, it is especially important that the disposal of industrial waste has a positive impact on the environment," Shoigu said.
