The final stage of the international competition for field training among special purpose groups from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan "Green Path"is taking place at the Molkino training ground in the Krasnodar Territory. This was announced on Tuesday, July 13, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The scouts were tested at the mountain sports complex and fulfilled special standards for physical training with throwing infantry shovels and knives at the target. In addition, in conditions as close as possible to actions in the rear of a conditional enemy, the commandos fired a machine gun, a sniper rifle, a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a Makarov pistol at a range of 15 to 100 m with a change of firing position.
The scouts-orderlies fulfilled the standards for self-help and assistance to a friend in stopping bleeding and blood transfusion, as well as in carrying a wounded person on themselves. The sappers of the special forces group during the sabotage at the communication node of the conditional enemy had to make an electric explosive network, install mines and make an explosive device from improvised means. At the same time, the executor of the operation was chosen by random lot.
To get out of the enemy's rear, the groups made a march for 10 km and secretly crossed the river up to 4 m deep, in full equipment and with weapons. More than 500 servicemen from special purpose formations and military units of four military districts, four fleets, Airborne troops, cadets of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School named after Army General V. F. Margelov, as well as special forces groups from the armed forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan take part in the competition. There are 26 teams in total.
On July 2, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reported that training flights of naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet and aircraft of the Southern Military District took place in the Black Sea. Rocket and bomb attacks on the ships of the conditional enemy were worked out. Su-30SM fighters and Su-24M front-line bombers of naval aviation took part in the exercises. Su-27 interceptor fighters and Su-34 fighter-bombers were attracted from the Southern Military District. In total, more than 10 aircraft were involved.
