Baykar Technologies Corporation has published a video of a long-range test flight of the Acinci drone with a combat load. The drone spent more than 13 hours in the air with a mass-dimensional mock-up of a 1.3-ton NEB penetrating bomb suspended under the fuselage.
The take-off weight of the device was a little more than six tons, Acinci rose to a height of nine kilometers, the tests were recognized as successful. Earlier, a new Turkish drone set a national record for the duration of the flight - it spent more than a day in the air - and shot at targets on the ground with guided missiles from a family developed specifically for it.
In total, Acinci made 874 departures.
