INTERFAX-A patrol anti-submarine aircraft of the US Navy P-8A Poseidon on Wednesday made another flight near the Syrian coast, where the logistics base of the Russian Navy in Tartus and the Russian Khmeimim air base are located, it follows from the monitoring of Western aviation resources.
According to them, an American naval intelligence officer, who took off from the Sigonella air base on the Italian island of Sicily, cruised for about an hour near the borders of Syria on the Mediterranean Sea.
Similar flights of American naval intelligence officers near Russian bases in Syria were recorded on July 5 and 6.
