MOSCOW, July 5. /TASS/. The military eastern district controls the actions of the French reconnaissance ship "Dupuy-de-Lom" in the Sea of Japan. This was reported to journalists at the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation.

"The forces and means of the Eastern Military District are monitoring the French Navy's Dupuy-de-Lom reconnaissance ship operating in the waters of the Sea of Japan and the Tatar Strait since July 5, 2021, "the center said.

A large reconnaissance ship of the French Navy, the Dupuy-de-Lom, was last seen in a joint intelligence operation with the United States in the Black Sea in September 2020. At that time, he was monitoring the Russian strategic military exercises "Caucasus-2020".
