According to the developer, one simulator allows you to train up to three anti-aircraft gunners both in the classroom and in the field
MOSCOW, July 2. /TASS/. A modern training system for the latest portable anti-aircraft missile system (MANPADS) "Verba" was developed in Russia. This was reported to TASS by Alexander Skorkin, Deputy General Director for Science of JSC "Simulator Systems" (the simulator developer company).
"The company has also developed a simulator for training operators of the Verba MANPADS," Skorkin informed.
According to him, simulators have also been created for MANPADS of the previous generation (in particular, the Igla family). "All the characteristics of combat models are implemented in these simulators. There is a built-in base of objects of destruction, which can be replenished, " Skorkin said.
As reported in the "Training Systems", the training of MANPADS operators is characterized by increased efficiency. "The combination of models, virtual objects of destruction and a real environment allows you to simulate the use of a real complex as accurately as possible and psychologically prepare shooters. An important feature of these simulators is their adaptation to the conditions of modern combat and their accurate reproduction in a virtual environment, " the company informed.
One simulator allows you to train up to three anti-aircraft gunners both in the classroom and in the field, the "Training Systems" added.
