MOSCOW, July 1. /TASS/. The share of the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) Energia, which produces manned Soyuz spacecraft, for the delivery and return to orbit of the crews of the International Space Station (ISS) in 2020 fell to 66%. This is stated in the company's annual report.
"The share of PJSC RSC Energia in the market of services for the delivery and return of crews of the International Space Station in 2020 decreased from 100% to 66%," the document says.
As specified at the enterprise, such indicators are associated with the beginning of regular operation of the American Crew Dragon ship.
"In terms of cargo missions to the ISS, the Company's market share in terms of the number of ships launched to the ISS has decreased to 29% in 2020," the document says.
In 2020, two Russian Progress MS cargo ships, two American Crew Dragon, two US Cygnus ships and one Japanese HTV were launched to the ISS.
