"Terminator" attracts attention: Algerian BMPT seen at landfills

Russian combat vehicles supporting Terminator tanks seem to be becoming one of the most popular models of military equipment in Algeria. Photos and videos with them have recently been published in large quantities on the Web.

In principle, it is clear why: the land forces of this state were the first in Africa to receive BMPT.

If earlier images taken during the study and development of armored vehicles were published, now they are mainly from landfills where their high combat capabilities are demonstrated.

As expected, the vehicles will soon be involved in larger-scale exercises with the participation of a large number of troops.

According to military experts, "Terminators" are well suited for operations in a desert area both against mobile formations operating on vehicles with light weapons, and against regular units with tanks, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles supported by aviation.

The weapons available on board the BMPT: 30-mm rapid-firing cannons, automatic grenade launchers, machine guns, as well as anti - tank guided missiles "Kornet" - allow you to confidently fight against various opponents. Including at night is as effective as during the day.

Powerful protection will protect the crew from enemy weapons, and a 1000-horsepower engine will provide high mobility characteristics.

Perhaps they will have to work together not only with modern T-90S, but also with T-72M1, old T-55MV and T-62.
