Washington. July 1. INTERFAX-The Falcon 9 launch vehicle on Wednesday successfully put 88 satellites into orbit, including four vehicles in the interests of the US military department, the developer company SpaceX said.
"The withdrawal of all satellites has been confirmed," the report says.
The launch as part of the Transporter-2 mission was carried out at 15:31 East Coast time (22:31 Moscow time) from the 40th launch complex at the Cape Canaveral Cosmodrome (Florida).
The rocket launched 85 commercial and state-owned small spacecraft into orbit, including four for the Pentagon's Space Development Directorate, as well as three more Starlink satellites to replenish the global Internet coverage system created by SpaceX.
