Israeli media reports that MiG-31K fighters stationed at the Hmeimim airbase launched the latest Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missile at an unknown target. According to the publication "Breaking Defense", the Israeli military has certain information about this, however, they do not disclose details.
"Israeli monitoring tools constantly monitor the territory and the data from them are checked. According to Israeli sources, the test was almost certainly carried out after a Russian fighter jet took off from the Hmeimim air base located in the Syrian province of Latakia," the information and analytical publication Breaking Defense reports.
At the moment, it is known that a pair of MiG-31K fighters arrived at the Khmeimim airbase. Also, the Dagger air missile systems, which are equipped with these interceptors, were also delivered to Syria.
