Russia is making up for lost time in the market of combat unmanned aircraft. Yesterday, on June 28, the Izvestia newspaper reported that Rosoboronexport began promoting its first export attack drone Orion-E to the world weapons market.
It is known that Rosoboronexport, together with the developer company Kronstadt, has begun promoting an unmanned complex with an Orion aircraft in a shock version equipped with a universal weapons complex to the world weapons market. We have already received "several initiative applications from potential buyers".

Deliveries of the export Orion can begin at the end of this or the beginning of next year, when the Kronstadt company will open a plant for the production of drones in Dubna. Orion is a medium-altitude unmanned complex with a long flight duration (MALE class). The maximum take-off weight of which is 1 t, and the maximum payload weight is 200 kg. Its "ceiling" reaches 7.5 km, the maximum duration of the flight with a standard load is 24 hours, the speed is up to 200 km / h.
