Rosoboronexport, part of Rostec, will demonstrate the latest Il-112B and Il-114-300 transport aircraft at the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS-2021). This was reported on Tuesday, June 29, in the press service of the company.
"In 2021, we have invited more than 120 delegations from 65 countries of the world and are going to present to them for the first time Il-112B, Il-114-300 aircraft, Ka-32A11M, Ansat-M, Mi-171A3 helicopters, as well as the S-350 Vityaz long — range anti-aircraft missile system," Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport, is quoted on the AAIPORT website.
It is noted that during the exhibition, Rosoboronexport will organize a demonstration of the touch interactive multimedia installation "Globus". The press service clarified that with the help of this installation, it will be possible to get acquainted with 38 3D models of promising samples of military products (PVN), as well as with their tactical and technical characteristics. At the same time, during the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to view photo and video materials.
In addition, the military transport aircraft Il-76MD-90A(E), the Mi-35M transport and combat helicopter, the Ka-52 combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, the Mi-26T2 heavy transport helicopter, the Mi-17V-5 military transport helicopter (an export version of the Mi-8MTV-5 helicopter) will be presented at MAKS-2021.
In March, Rostec announced that it would present a wide range of developments at MAKS, including a "fundamentally new" aircraft.
In turn, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia said in the same month that more than 40 countries, including partners in the Eurasian Economic Union, expressed their intention to participate in the MAX this year.
In December 2020, it became known that the international aviation and Space salon MAKS, which is traditionally held in Zhukovsky, will be held from July 20 to 25, 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. It was noted that the leading Russian aircraft manufacturers and a number of foreign companies confirmed their participation in the MAKS and reserved space.
