Already this year, the Turkish special forces will receive new armored personnel carriers. FNSS showed the testing process of a new specialized armored personnel carrier PARS IV with enhanced protection against mines and IEDs.
The PARS IV armored personnel carrier for special forces is significantly different from the Pars Izci, presented earlier this year. Although both vehicles are designed on a single base, the PARS IV is equipped with additional armor that protects the crew from mines. To counteract IEDs, special equipment for jamming the radio signal is installed on the armored personnel carrier. In addition, the PARS IV carries two remotely controlled combat modules at once.
