The Russian Quantum Center, Rosatom State Corporation and the National Quantum Laboratory will hold the VI International Conference on Quantum Technologies from July 12 to 16. The largest event in the field of quantum technologies in Russia will be held for the first time in an online format and will bring together leading scientists from the USA, Canada, China, Germany, Great Britain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Singapore. The partners were the Russian Academy of Sciences, Gazprombank and the Roscongress Foundation.

The conference program is divided into 2 blocks: an open day for a wide audience and a closed scientific part, within which international experts will present their own reports.

Everyone can take part in the open day by pre-registering on the official website . The participants will have a presentation of quantum computing and an analysis of its application in the financial sector, logistics, medicine and pharmaceuticals. In addition, representatives of the countries of the quantum race — the United States, China, India and Russia-will discuss how to develop international quantum projects, and start-ups-to attract external funding.

Scientific reports will be delivered by world-renowned researchers: one of the leaders in the field of quantum computing on atoms Mikhail Lukin, Professor at Harvard University Evgeny Demler, Professor at Purdue University Vladimir Shalaev, Professor at the University of Basel in Switzerland Daniel Loss and representatives of national quantum programs: head of the European program for the development of quantum technologies Quantum Flagship Tommaso Calarco, director of research at the French National Center for Scientific Research Bernard Gilles and others.

We have been holding ICQT for 10 years, and each time the number of participating countries and guests is constantly growing: for example, in 2019 it exceeded the mark of several thousand. Despite the fact that we have now had to abandon the usual offline format, some researchers will still come to Russia to discuss the commercialization of technologies and the possibility of cooperation. - Head of the Project Office for Quantum Technologies of the Rosatom State CorporationRuslan Yunusov.
