Dubai. June 25. INTERFAX-The Iranian Foreign Ministry said that it is not Tehran, but Western countries that will have to make fundamental decisions so that all parties return to fulfilling the terms of the agreement on the Iranian atom - the JCPOA.
"The decisions will have to be made by the other side," the Western media cite the statement of the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Said Khatibzadeh.
Earlier on Friday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that it would be very difficult for Washington to return to compliance with the agreements under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) if negotiations with Iran on this topic are delayed.
"There will come a time when it will be very difficult to return to the conditions set by the JCPOA," Blinke said during a press conference with French Foreign Minister Jean - Yves Le Drian.
The French minister, for his part, indicated that Paris expects that Tehran will take such decisions that will contribute to achieving the return of all parties to compliance with the terms of the JCPOA.
The United States during the presidency of Donald Trump withdrew from the JCPOA and restored sanctions against Tehran. Iran, in turn, dissatisfied with the state of implementation of the JCPOA, began to phase out compliance with its terms.
Now Iran and international mediators are holding talks in Vienna on the return of Tehran and Washington to the JCPOA.
The Iranian media noted that Tehran insists on lifting sanctions against it in a controlled manner before abandoning its own measures to reduce the implementation of the JCPOA conditions.
