TSAMTO, June 23. The Civil Aviation Service of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (CAAV) has validated the Mi-171A2 helicopter Type Certificate.
This event opens the Vietnamese market for Russian civilian multi-purpose Mi-171A2 helicopters.
The issuance of a validated type certificate is the result of systematic work on building international cooperation in the field of aviation equipment certification with a number of states in various regions of the world. These events are held by the Federal Air Transport Agency in support of the priority plan for export supplies of promising domestic aviation equipment, formed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and enterprises of the Russian aviation industry.
Earlier, on March 13, 2020, Rosaviatsia and CAAV signed a Working Agreement on Airworthiness Issues aimed at supporting and simplifying the validation of Russian aircraft exported to Vietnam.
