ST. PETERSBURG, June 23. /TASS/. The over-the-horizon radar station (ZG radar) "Sunflower-E" was presented at the International Naval Salon (MVMS-2021) in St. Petersburg.
As the press service of NPK NIIDAR (part of the RTI Systems concern) told reporters on Wednesday, visitors to the salon can get acquainted with the tactical and technical characteristics of the Sunflower-E radar, the principles of its installation and operation.
"The Naval Salon <...> is a specialized platform where we can show our export potential to representatives of foreign countries with a long maritime border, as well as to private foreign companies operating in coastal waters. Our ZG radar "Sunflower-E" can be used to track the movement of both registered water or air transport, and to prevent poaching, smuggling and other unauthorized intrusions into the controlled territory, " the press service quotes the words of the Director General of NIIDAR Yuri Anoshko.
