Moscow. June 18. INTERFAX-The United Engine Corporation of Rostec has delivered a gas pumping unit GPA-4RMP to the gas field of the Novatek Group, the press service of the UEC reports.
"This power plant is an advanced development of the UEC. Previously, we have already delivered nine similar power plants to Gazprom's facilities, now this equipment has been delivered to the Novatek Group facility, " said Sergey Mikhailov, Deputy General Director - Deputy General Director for Energy and Industrial Programs of the UEC, whose words are quoted in a press release issued on Friday.
It is reported that the power device, complete with a reciprocating compressor and station equipment, was delivered to a gas field in the Berezovsky district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
According to the press service, the gas pumping unit GPA-4RMP produced by JSC "UEC-Gas Turbines" is designed for filling and extracting gas from underground storage facilities, where work is required in a wide range of pressures with a high compression ratio.
"In the process of filling the underground gas storage, the equipment requires the ability to change the pressure smoothly while maintaining the stable operation of the equipment. This is achieved through the combined operation of a reciprocating compressor and a gas turbine engine, " the report says.
