The car weighs 14,500 kilograms and is equipped with 60 cassettes with mines. At the same time, the armored car can accelerate up to 100 km / h. Crew - two people.
It should be noted that in addition to the light version, the exhibition showed the UMZ-G minelayer on a tracked chassis using T-72 and T-90 tank units. Its weight is 43,500 kilograms.
The armored body is equipped with nine launchers for high-speed remote mining. There are 270 cassettes in total. The firing range of mines is from 40 meters. Mining speed - 40 km/h. The maximum speed of the UMP-G is 60 km / h. For self-defense, there is a 12.7-mm machine gun 6P49 - "Cord". Crew - two people.
As a base for the medium version of the UMZ-K, the Asteis - 70202-0000310 armored car was used. Its mass is 18,700 kilograms. The number of cassettes is reduced to 180 pieces. The firing range of the mines is the same as that of the tracked version. Increased the maximum speed of movement on the highway - up to 100 km / h. The mining speed is 40 kilometers per hour.
