Tsniitochmash has developed the PCM 75 collimator sight with unique accuracy and energy consumption characteristics. The device has passed preliminary tests and will be presented at the Army-2021 forum.
Collimator sights use a special mark instead of a reticle, whose accuracy depends on the size measured in angular minutes. The size of the standard mark is 2 minutes, the new sight is 1. This significantly increases the accuracy of shooting and increases its range, the Rostec corporation reported. They noted that the product exceeds the level of foreign collimator sights, especially when shooting at long distances.
Another advantage of the PCM 75 is its continuous operation time. Thanks to the use of high-capacity lithium batteries, the new sight is able to work without changing the batteries for up to 50 thousand hours.
The device is mounted on a Picatinny rail and is designed for use on all models of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, assault rifles and silent weapons: the Val submachine gun and the Vintorez sniper rifle. The PCM 75 is compatible with night vision devices and can operate at temperatures from -50 to +60 degrees.
