Slovenia ordered the delivery of 38 armored vehicles in 2018. The SUVs entered service under the designation LKOV 4×4 and are equipped with remote-controlled combat modules Protector M153 Kongsberg with a large-caliber machine gun and the ability to install Spike LR missiles.
JLTV, aka Oshkosh L-ATV, is an armored car weighing 6.4 tons with adaptive suspension (maximum ground clearance-51 cm). The vehicle has a basic armor that protects the crew from the fire of small arms of medium caliber, as well as from the detonation of mines and land mines. The base engine of the JLTV is a 6.6 l diesel engine with a capacity of 300 hp. As an option, the cars can be equipped with diesel-electric hybrid units that can power outdoor electrical equipment. The vehicle can be armed with various weapons, including anti-tank missiles.
