Geneva. June 16. INTERFAX-Russia has sent 80 requests related to cybercrime to the United States over the past two years and has not received a single response to them, unlike the United States, which was given exhaustive explanations for their 12 requests, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"During 2020, we received 10 requests from the United States about cyber attacks on objects in the United States, as our colleagues say, from the cyberspace of Russia. And two such requests - this year. Both last year and this year, our colleagues received exhaustive answers to all of them, " Putin said at a press conference following talks with US President Joe Biden in Geneva.
At the same time, he stressed that "Russia sent 45 such requests to the relevant US structures last year, and in the first half of this year - 35." "We have not received a single response yet. This shows that we have something to work on, " he said.
