According to the Director General of Roscosmos, there is a problem with satellites, because sometimes there are not enough of their elements
MOSCOW, June 9. /TASS/. The number of space launch vehicles in the Russian Federation is enough to come out on top in terms of the number of launches. This was announced by the General Director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin on Wednesday.
"We make space rockets of excellent quality, and they are enough to come out on top in terms of the number of launches, we have a problem with satellites, because sometimes there are not enough elements of these satellites," Rogozin said on the YouTube channel " Solovyov Live ".
Earlier, the head of Roscosmos, speaking in the State Duma, said that Russia can not launch some satellites due to the lack of chips that can not be delivered to the Russian Federation due to sanctions.
The United States began to impose anti-Russian sanctions in March 2014, justifying their need for the conflict in the south-east of Ukraine and the entry of Crimea into Russia. The sanctions include visa restrictions and the blocking of property and accounts of individuals and legal entities, as well as a ban on the supply of weapons, dual-use technologies and high-tech equipment.
