MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. Dmitry Rogozin, Director General of Roscosmos, and Philippe Batista, President of the French National Center for Space Research (CNES), held talks in a video conference format. This is stated in the message of the Russian state corporation, distributed on Tuesday.
"During the talks, the heads of Roscosmos and CNES discussed the prospects for Russian-French cooperation in the operation of the Soyuz complex at the Guiana Space Center, and also raised issues of possible French participation in the Russian-Chinese initiative to create an International Scientific Lunar Station," the report said.
As specified in Roscosmos, the heads of space agencies expressed hope for continued cooperation in areas of interest.
"The parties agreed that based on the results of the issues discussed today, a detailed discussion will be initiated within CNES with the involvement of all interested Russian and French organizations," Roscosmos added.
