RUSNANO and the company" H2 Clean Energy " at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum signed an agreement on the joint development of projects in the field of hydrogen energy.

The document was signed by the Senior Managing Director of RUSNANO Management CompanyAlexey Tikhonov and CEO of N2 Clean EnergyAlexey Kaplun.

The agreement provides for the creation of production of "green" hydrogen for its export to foreign countries, the development of technologies for the use of hydrogen in various sectors of the economy, as well as joint investment in hydrogen energy companies through the creation of joint funds, including with the involvement of other partners.

The parties also intend to prepare proposals for improving the legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of regulating the production and use of hydrogen fuel.

"Hydrogen energy is one of the most promising areas of RUSNANO's work in the context of the global green agenda. The use of hydrogen around the world is now considered as a serious alternative to traditional hydrocarbons. The goal of our partnership is to provide markets with access to the energy of the future, " said Senior Managing Director of RUSNANO Management CompanyAlexey Tikhonov: To solve this problem, Russia has the necessary scientific and technological background, which we want to use for the implementation of specific projects in the field of generation, storage, transportation and use of hydrogen. The development of hydrogen energy will ensure the diversification of Russian exports and allow the economy to move to a new level of environmental friendliness."

"By developing projects for the production and further use of "green" hydrogen, we not only contribute to the creation of additional opportunities to increase the export potential of our country, but also stimulate the formation of a new market within Russia, providing consumers with access to promising eco-friendly technologies, " said the General Director of N2 Clean EnergyAlexey Kaplun.
