Moscow. June 7. INTERFAX-Russia in 2020 sold $15 billion worth of weapons abroad, the order portfolio remained at the level of $50 billion, said Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of the Russian Federation.
"We have fulfilled, most importantly, the indicators of last year. We have a volume of more than 15 billion - 102 percent of the planned indicators, " Shugaev said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"And the order portfolio, which is very important, has remained at the level of more than $ 50 billion," Shugaev said.
On May 20, the head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, said that the volume of export orders for Russian military equipment is $52.1 billion.
"We have signed contracts worth more than $ 4 billion this year. The order portfolio is $ 52.1 billion, " Mikheev told reporters at the HeliRussia-2021 forum.
"We have already delivered about 23% of the planned volume of this year to our customers," he said.
As reported, in recent years, the portfolio of Russian export orders for weapons and military equipment is about $55 billion. The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, previously said that by the end of 2020, the Russian Federation will supply $12.8 billion worth of military equipment abroad. In addition to India and China, Egypt, Algeria and Turkey were among Russia's largest partners in the field of military-technical cooperation.
