The head of Roscosmos expressed hope that the strengthening of relations with Bill Nelson will allow restoring dialogue with the United States. "I raised several questions related to the possibility of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Russia and America in the field of basic space research and the planets of the solar system," Rogozin said.
The head of the Russian corporation also noted that he plans to show Nelson the enterprises and introduce him to his family. "I will do my best to establish a personal and confidential dialogue with this experienced and respected man, Mr. Nelson. Therefore, I am waiting for him in my family, and I hope that he will also come with his relatives and close relatives. We will try to show him the Russia that he does not know. We will show the industry, we will go to the enterprises, " he said.
Previously, Nelson called Russia is a vital partner in the International Space Station and expressed hope for continued Russian-American cooperation in the space sector. He called the relations between the two states outstanding.
