Since 2019, Russia has received six applications for the supply of ground-based combat robots, said Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
- The FSMTC received six requests from foreign customers interested in Russian combat robotics. The Uran-6 mine clearance complex is of great interest to our partners, " Shugaev told TASS on the sidelines of SPIEF-2021.
"Uran-6" is an armored engineering complex designed for clearing areas and making passages in minefields. The six-ton tracked vehicle is equipped with a set of trawls, several video cameras and a remote control with a range of more than a kilometer. The machine proved itself well during combat mine clearance operations in Dagestan, Chechnya and Syria.
