The first meeting on electronic warfare was held on June 4 in Moscow at the CSTO Joint Headquarters.
The heads and representatives of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the CSTO Secretariat, positively assessed the prospects for training specialists in electronic warfare from the CSTO member states in educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The press service of the Joint Staff of the organization did not say anything about the time when military personnel from the CSTO member states will be able to study at our military universities.
They only clarified that " the work is carried out in the interests of the components of the CSTO collective forces and is aimed at improving the effectiveness of the use of the forces and means of the CSTO collective security system."
"The participants of the meeting heard information from the head of the CSTO Collective Forces Planning Department-Deputy Head of the center for planning the use and training of Troops (Collective Forces) CSTO Lieutenant General Anatoly Yakovlev on the prospects for the development of the CSTO's power potential. A representative of the headquarters of the Airborne Troops of the Russian Federation gave information about the forces and means of electronic warfare allocated to the collective forces of the CSTO, " said Vladislav Shchegrikovich, press secretary of the CSTO Joint Staff.
