MOSCOW, June 4. /TASS/. /TASS/. The general director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that there is no competition for who will be the first to fly to the Moon, and if there is, then he will not participate in them.
"There is no competition, and if there is one, I will not participate in it, because I will save people's money to do what is useful for the country," Rogozin said in an interview with Kommersant FM radio on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF - 2021).
According to the head of Roscosmos, the Russian Federation should focus on what benefits the country, and not " participate in stupid competitions of jumping in bags towards the Moon." He also admitted that China or the Russian Federation may be the first to fly to the Earth's natural satellite.
