The collection took six months to create
MOSCOW, May 31. /TASS/. Roscosmos together with Illan Communications presented branded products in Moscow. It is planned to open new outlets for its sale, said Maxim Ovchinnikov, First Deputy General Director of the state Corporation for Economics and Finance.
"Today we will sell part of the collection. The proceeds from the sale will be used for charitable purposes, and can be purchased either through our Internet channels or through stores that will open, including in the pavilion, in our retail outlets, airports,planetariums, and VDNH. We plan to open a fairly large number of outlets with our partners, " Ovchinnikov said.
According to the first Deputy Director General of Roscosmos, the creation of the collection took six months.
In turn, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, told reporters that the presented products are a kind of encyclopedia. "There are very important signs in these clothes. For example, if you point your phone at a QR code, information about the space mission is displayed, for example, "Buran" or "Vostok-1". Some types of clothing are engineering clothing with elements that show the design of the ship, " he said.
As part of the presentation, cosmonauts with their families took to the podium. Their clothing, Rogozin explained, displayed the hours, minutes, and seconds spent in orbit.
Product presentation
On Monday, the Center for Cosmonautics and Aviation at VDNH hosted a presentation of the co-branded projects "Your Space". The event featured collections of clothing and accessories dedicated to space exploration. A total of 80 models were presented, including a separate collection dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight into space.
The event was attended by Rogozin, Ovchinnikov, cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko, Sergey Ryazansky, General Director of NPO Energomash Igor Arbuzov. The presentation was also attended by actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko, who are due to go to the ISS in October to shoot a film.
The project was implemented jointly with the brands Zasport, Alena Akhmadullina, Radi mira i lubvi, Krakatau, Bullfinch, Bosco, Twins Piano Duo, "Take Care of Kamchatka", "Rocket", The Cave, Codered, Krygina Cosmetics, Yarussia.
