Russian armored vehicles from the fleet of the Hmeimim air base have shown their reliability and efficiency in the extremely hot climate of Syria.
This was told to the media representatives by military motorists on the day of their professional holiday, which is celebrated in Russia on May 29, TASS reports.
At the disposal of the fleet of the air base there are armored vehicles "Tiger-M", "Tornado", "Typhoon" and "Lynx", as well as cargo "KAMAZ"and " Ural". In addition to patrolling, the vehicles are used to deliver long-distance cargo and humanitarian aid to the local population. As part of one of the last missions, the cars passed over 650 kilometers of hot roads without a single breakdown.
Also, military motorists said that they regularly conduct training on emergency evacuation of broken cars. The life of the unit directly depends on the speed and coherence of actions in such a situation.
