Moscow. May 27. INTERFAX-The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has taken over the management of PJSC Tupolev (a developer and manufacturer of missile carriers and special-purpose aircraft), a representative of the UAC told Interfax.
"The powers of the sole executive body (EIO) of PJSC Tupolev, which makes up the Strategic and Special Aviation division of the UAC, have been transferred to the UAC. Ronis Sharipov will continue to lead the division as Managing director, " the UAC said on Thursday. They said that the UAC continues to centralize the management of the corporation.
"The centralization of the management of aircraft manufacturing enterprises is part of the ongoing corporate transformation of UAC, which includes the elimination of duplicate administrative functions, the creation of corporate competence and service centers, and the expansion of cooperation of production sites for more effective implementation of aircraft construction programs. At the same time, reputable design schools will continue to develop, " the UAC said.
Earlier, the UAC transferred the powers of the EIO, which is the center of the transport aviation division of PJSC Il, and the key company of the military aviation division of PJSC Sukhoi.
