Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which it is planned to allocate 5.26 billion rubles until 2024 to support business in the implementation of pilot projects for the introduction of artificial intelligence in various sectors of the economy.
The funds will be distributed based on the results of a competitive selection process. Subsidies can be used to purchase software and hardware, pay for programmers, rent office space, maintain jobs, and other purposes. It is fixed that the size of the grant per recipient should not exceed 100 million rubles, - the message says.
The government plans to approve the rules for subsidizing events in which schoolchildren and students will develop their own projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
The best initiatives will receive expert and mentoring support, which will also allow teams to prepare their projects for market launch. — The document also provides for the financing of specialized additional education services, thanks to which thousands of Russians will be able to receive certificates for passing special training programs in artificial intelligence.
It is noted that the financing of these areas until 2024 will amount to 1.23 billion rubles.
The decisions taken will help expand the practical application of artificial intelligence, stimulate the digital transformation of the economy and accelerate the socio-economic development of the country.
