MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. The Russian communication satellite "Glonass-M" No. 732 (23rd point) is temporarily withdrawn from the grouping, according to the website of the information and analytical center for coordinate-time and navigation support of the GLONASS system.
"Temporarily withdrawn" is indicated in the status bar of the device.
This satellite was launched on March 2, 2010 and entered the system on March 28, 2010. The last time it was taken out for maintenance was in December last year.
Currently, there are 27 satellites in the GLONASS orbital constellation, 22 of them are used for their intended purpose, two satellites are temporarily withdrawn from the orbital constellation for maintenance, another device is in the orbital reserve, and two satellites are undergoing flight tests. To cover the entire globe, 24 working Glonass devices are required.
